The HLS Global Leaders and Professionals program is designed to help HLS students develop and achieve their professional and career goals in a rapidly changing world. Students selected to participate in this program will participate in professional skills development workshops, work one-on-one with career coaches and professional mentors, and meet with community and global leaders to identify specific career goals and start putting them into action. We expect students to leave the program with an offer in hand and a head start on acquiring the skills needed to build a successful, long-term global career.
*** Last year, the majority of our students obtained internships related to their career goals, including the US Department of State, the Indiana International Center, Reporters Without Borders, and the Institute of Defense and Business.
Application process: This program is open to all HLS students. We are looking for students who are committed to attending all sessions; are willing to devote several hours per week to their internship, job, or program search; and who are interested in working towards their career goals in a collaborative setting. Students selected for this program will meet weekly for the first half of the Spring Semester.
