COP24 Application - 2018
This course will prepare the Indiana University delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change 24th Conference of Parties in Poland in December 2018.
During the Fall 2018 semester, students will participate in a seminar structured around the Articles of Paris Agreement and navigating the UNFCCC meetings, as well as Polish culture and environmental policy. Students will hone expertise in a selected climate topic, prepare literature reviews and white papers, and then travel to the 24th Conference of Parties in Poland, where they will conduct observations and interviews with climate negotiators.
Students will be required to enroll in INTL-I 426/500 during Fall 2018. The seminar will be held on Wednesdays from 9:30am-12:00pm. Travel dates are November 30 through December 8, 2018.
Course Fee: $1,000 (airfare not included)
