Matthew C. (Mac) Bernstein is a partner at DLA Piper in Washington D.C. where he focuses his practice on developing and directing government affairs strategies in complex policy matters. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the United States Senate as Legislative Assistant to Senator Howard Metzenbaum (D-OH) and in the United States House of Representatives as a professional staff member of the House Banking Committee.
Bernstein earned an A.B. from Columbia University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, in addition to having studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
