Spend a Semester Abroad
HLS partners with universities around the world to enable you to spend a semester abroad. Through one of our exchanges, the world becomes your classroom as you immerse yourself in a new cultural, political and social context while deepening your understanding of global governance, diplomacy, world languages and cultures.
2-Week Study Abroad in Mexico — Spring 2025
If you’re interested in international development, enroll in a new spring 2024 course, Careers in International Development-A Case Study of Mexico to gain first-hand knowledge and experiences in the field. You will learn directly from development agencies including USAID, World Bank, and others, and tour cultural sites in Mexico City and San Cristobal.
10 Day Study Abroad in Uzbekistan — Spring 2025
The one-credit CEUS R399/R610 Central Asia in Soviet Times is a faculty-led study abroad course — an optional add-on to the Spring 2025 class CEUS 320/520 Central Asia in Soviet Times. Participants will take Uzbek language lessons, learn about the history and culture of Uzbekistan, and visit Bukhara and Tashkent.
