HLS Living-Learning Center

Join a globally conscious community

Looking for the best way to connect with a diverse group of classmates from around the world? Fascinated by world languages and cultures? Join the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies Living-Learning Center (HLS LLC)!

The HLS LLC is a tight-knit residential community of engaged, globally-minded students just like you. Located on the fourth floor of Spruce Hall, one of IU’s most modern facilities, the LLC puts you on the path to global leadership through a tailored program of activities, trips, and professional development.

At the LLC, students cultivate an atmosphere of respect and knowledge built on mutual support and the vibrant exchange of ideas. As an LLC member, you will have special opportunities to learn from and network with VIP visitors, HLS faculty, and your LLC peers. Through participation in discussions of critical international issues, culture nights that showcase diverse traditions, and excursions that explore global issues in the local environment and beyond, you will build your profile as a global leader.
