Tibet. Afghanistan. Iran. Turkey. The Baltics. These are just a few of the geographic regions you can focus on when you pursue a degree in Central Eurasian Studies.
Whatever region you choose, you’ll spend your academic life learning its languages and getting an in-depth understanding of its culture, history, and place in the modern world.
You’ll explore the region’s politics—both current and historical. You’ll get to know famous figures, such as Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, Suleiman the Magnificent and the Dalai Lama. And you’ll graduate with a deep understanding of what makes Central Eurasia great and what challenges it faces.
