2025 HLS Commencement Recognition Ceremony

Graduates will be recognized by name following a keynote speech and remarks by Dean John Ciorciari. Attire is business or business casual.

Please register by Friday, April 25.

Saturday, May 10, 2025

  • Graduate check in starts at 8:00 am
    • Sidewalk on the north side of the IU Auditorium – inside front lobby if it’s raining
  • Auditorium staff will have navy blue blazers and can help direct guests to any special seating they may need
  • There is an ASL interpreter and reserved seating in Section E for better visibility.
  • Anyone with a handicap permit can park on the circle around the Showalter Fountain
    • Please email hls@iu.edu if there are mobility issues but no permit, and we’ll notify the IU Auditorium
  • One of the shuttles (Henderson and Poplars garages) is ADA accessible
  • Dress is business/business casual, but students are welcome to wear academic regalia, if they would like.
  • 9am | IU Auditorium | Commencement Starts

HLS Recognition Ceremony Details

  • Parking will be available in the Eagleson, Henderson, and Poplars parking garages. Shuttles will run from the Henderson and Poplars garages
  • Grad Images will be on site, taking keepsake photos for you to order online after the event.
  • Attire is business or business casual
  • HLS Commencement will be live-streamed.
