Terrance Stroud is the Hamilton Lugar School’s Global Affairs Fellow and visiting faculty. In this newly created role, Terrance reports directly to Assistant Dean Rana collaborating on strategic planning; identifying strategic partnerships, and advising on the development and implementation of diversity initiatives. In addition, he serves as a resource for students interning at New York based international institutions and joins the newly created HLS Career Cabinet which focuses on student professional development. Stroud is also an Adjunct Professor overseeing Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s New York Externship Program. He is the first black recipient of the Maurer Adjunct Faculty Teaching Award.
Presently, Stroud serves as a Deputy Commissioner at the largest municipal social services agency in the country overseeing the development and implementation of agency learning strategy. He is appointed to the New York State Staff Development Advisory Committee. He is elected to the National Staff Development Training Association’s Executive Advisory Council and is co-chair of the American Public Human Services Association’s Equity Diversity and Inclusion Peer Community.
