Global dream job?
Hard pick, but I think I'd like to be in an administrative role of an international organization focused on providing assistance to historically marginalized populations, or groups otherwise facing challenges. This could mean working with refugees, fundraising for families, or otherwise working to build up communities that have been fractured in the past for one reason or another. I feel that the field of "international development" is what this most closely falls into, but I much prefer the term "redistribution."
One thing you love about Hamilton Lugar?
I love the ability to have very fun and open-minded conversations with my Hamilton Lugar colleagues about international relations. In other majors, I feel that it's easy to be put into a box, but I don't feel like conversations involving the international landscape are the same way. Conversations are very dynamic at Hamilton Lugar, and there is never ever a single right or wrong answer. You can have massive ideas and dreams, and here, you can talk with others about their massive ideas and dreams, too. Isn't that crazy?
