HLS Class of 2021: The Power of Resilience

We couldn’t be prouder of the Class of 2021. This formidable group of undergraduate and graduate students experienced first-hand how global issues affect our personal lives, and they responded with the flexibility and determination expected of great leaders.

The past fifteen months have been a challenge and a turning point, and our graduates are well prepared to use the skills and insights they’ve gained at the Hamilton Lugar School to make their mark on the world.

On Friday, May 7, the School’s talented graduate students will participate in commencement activities in Memorial Stadium. The following afternoon, our globally ready seniors will do the same.

Help us honor this impressive cohort, who serve as models and inspirations for how to use adversity as an opportunity for growth.

In this time of immense change and uncertainty, I'm so grateful to call the class of 2021 my friends, family, and fellow graduates as we change the world and become the next generation of global leaders.

Your studies of global and international trends have prepared you for a world where challenges do not respect national borders and where global cooperation is a precondition for progress.
