What is the Global Competencies Series? The Hamilton Lugar School Global Competencies Series bridges the gap between classroom theory and real-world professional execution. Rather than traditional lectures, this series delivers hands-on practitioner modules designed to equip students with "Day 1" transferable hard and soft skills used daily by diplomats, intelligence analysts, policy advocates, journalists, and global executives.
Who Leads the Series? The series is led by Katherine Ntiamoah, Director of Policy Engagement & Strategic Partnerships at the Hamilton Lugar School. An HLS alumna and former U.S. Diplomat with nearly two decades of foreign service and international policy experience across 11 global assignments, Katherine brings real-world diplomatic tradecraft directly to campus to help students succeed in high-stakes environments.
